  • We in the Scotland and North region will be having our usual Pre Season and
Lay-Up lunches and the much acclaimed Tarbert Muster in 2025.

The Pre Season Lunch date is Saturday 5th April, held as usual in the Largs
Sailing Club which has the most wonderful views of the Clyde Estuary looking out
to the Island of Great Cumbrae.
This year’s after lunch speaker is the renowned Ian Nicolson C.ENG, F.R.I.N.A.
M.I.I.M.S. More than well known for a life time of yacht design, surveying, and
authorship of numerous books on nearly every aspect of sailing, repairing and servicing every type of boat.

A seldom available opportunity to meet and hear a stalwart of the British marine industry and an opportunity not to be missed.

The Tarbert Muster, on the last weekend in July. Friday/Saturday/Sunday 25/26/27th, has grown in numbers year by year and is eagerly looked forward to by many members including those who travel from both the North of Scotland and England to participate. There is an informal evening on the Friday followed by a very slightly more formal dinner on the Saturday evening. Arranged and ad hoc activities through Saturday and early Sunday for those that wish along with advice re local touring if desired. Members from other regions are welcomed with great pleasure and immediately introduced around. A large part of the visitors pontoon is allocated to Fisher participants only which helps make the muster even more special.
