• It’s a big year for the FOA – celebrating 55 years since the first Fisher was born. We are already looking forward to planning our region’s Fisher sailing programme for 2025.
  As a lot of members are heading for Cowes, we have adjusted the East Coast events to fit in with the
  55th anniversary bash.

  
  So here are the dates for next year and we do hope you will be able to meet up with other Fisher owners and their boats around the East coast, and beyond.

  Saturday 29 March, Lunch, Ravenswood Harvester, Ipswich IP3 9GF 1200 hours
  A New Venue this year IPSWICH. The Fitting out lunch 1200-1500 hours – our traditional start to the year for members new and not-so-new to talk about boats and trips you are planning.

  Monday 30 June To Friday 4 July, Fisher 55th Anniversary Rendezvous, Cowes, Isle of Wigh

  Saturday, 26 July, Barbecue at Stone Point, Walton Channel HW approximately 1335 hours
  Sunny afternoons and beach barbies seem a dream this time of year - if you don’t know the Walton
  Backwaters this is the perfect spot and it’s very easy to get to. The tide is perfect. Bring your own kit, food and drink.

  
  Saturday 6 September, Shotley Marina, Meal at the Shipwreck, Shotley 1930 hours
  A favourite venue and again an easy trip for most east coast boats - especially at this time of year. The rally is from Friday evening to Sunday, or as long/short as you like.
