NEPTUNE 85 Combined FOA and FSMBC Rally to Ouistreham and Caen to Commemorate the 85th anniversary of D-Day, June 2029
Published 14:49 on 20 Oct 2026
We had a very successful Neptune 80 Rally in June 2024 and we are now looking to see if members would like to join in with the next one in 2029. The 6th of June falls on a Wednesday and the organisers will be arriving the Friday the 1st and staying until Sunday the 10th.
Activities are likely to happen throughout the period but (to coin an expression from our great friend Bryan Sautelle-Smith, Rear Commodore Southwest and West, who crossed the bar a while back) this will be a 'rally à la carte;' this means you can join and leave whenever you choose. I have set up an event in the calendar for 1- 10 June 2029 and a forum page to discuss this event.
This is to gauge how many members would like to join in this rally, with or without your Fishers.
The event can be found in the Calendar here: NEPTUNE 85 Rally Calendar Event
I have set up a forum page here for you to ask questions or raise ideas etc: NEPTUNE 85 Rally to Ouistreham and Caen
