Costs: The AGM is free for all members to attend. The Laying-Up Dinner is £36 for 3 courses + tea/coffee. A double room in the hotel should be £100 on the FOA rate for Bed & Breakfast. 

Details: This year we are going to Cheshire for our AGM and Laying-Up Dinner. We last held an AGM in this region in 2013 and it proved to be a most popular location. Situated amidst beautiful Cheshire countryside, in the hills above is the delightful market town of Frodsham. We look forward to welcoming you to the AGM, to meet with friends old and new, in addition to fellow Fisher enthusiasts to share our stories, both the triumphs and the learning opportunities, from another year of adventure on the high seas.    

The AGM event on Saturday 10th October 2026 will follow the usual format and timings:

     14.00 AGM  

     15.30 Tea/Coffee 

     16.00 Sailing round Britain, Steve White 

     18.30 Commodores Reception 

     19.30 Dinner and talk by Art Historian Diane Ward 

How to Book: See the FOA forum for more detailed information and discussions, along with the AGM & meal booking forms (available to download as word docs or pdfs for digital or postal returns). Bookings for the AGM should be made by 18th September. An allocation of bedrooms has also been reserved for us on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th October at the hotel for the Fisher Owners Association event.  Please book accommodation directly with the hotel.

Organising Region: This is a national FOA event - all members are welcome!
